A. A raster file is made up of pixels and has a set resolution, like a photograph. .jpg, .png, .tiff, and .gif are all examples of raster files. If the raster file is low-resolution, (for example taken from a website) it will print poorly (fuzzy).
Vector files are made up of anchor points and curves, or text. They can be enlarged infinitely without losing image resolution. .ai, .eps, .indd, and .pdf files MAY be vector, depending on how they were saved. Please contact us if you have a question about your file.
